This piece of artwork is a beautifully detailed Bulbasaur that feels slightly realistic but still stays true to the original design of the character.

The pose shows his fierce expression, going beyond the cute character. It gives us a more fierce side of the creature, more of what he would be like in reality.

We get the real feel of flesh and skin. The shading gives a real sense of depth to the character, while the shines of light give a hard smooth surface to his body. Notice the small tones of red he paints on Bulbasaur's nose and legs, giving the feel of blood in the creatures body. You can feel the life of the creature bursting through the image.

Little details like the trails of saliva, the ooze of goo from his vines, the tiny seeds bursting out of his bulb, and the speckles around his markings add more to the feel of life to this piece of artwork. The image never gets boring to look at, and draws the audience's eyes, admiring every little detail of the image.

The grey background, with the cast shadow, gives a nice finish to the piece, almost as if it were shot in a studio. The slightly transparent title on the corner right of the piece, also gives a nice professional feel to it.

Overall a beautiful piece of artwork! I cannot find a flaw in the image, I cannot praise it enough.
